Revamping Digital to Increase Enrollment

Problem:

Mizzou’s Health Management and Informatics offers an executive M.H.A. program. They came to AdZou because they were struggling with a lack of enrollment. Each enrolled executive student is worth $18,000, so the program needed to draw new students in.

Resolution:

The plan we developed will increase enrollment through the addition of PR and digital tactics. By adding networking events, in-bound marketing of the HMI website, increased reach through the social media sites, and improvement of the newsletter to their marketing efforts, HMI can increase awareness, engagement, and interest.

A Unique Rebranding Opportunity

Problem:

Zoetis, Inc., is an industry-leader in animal health products and tasked AdZou with developing an advertising and marketing campaign for a cow-calf vaccine series. Specifically, our team was challenged with creating and developing a branded name for their “prime-boost” calf vaccination system and a media campaign to market the new brand. 

Resolution:

Through primary and secondary research, our team identified “Intuitive Veterinary Professionals” as our target market because of their influence on producer vaccine decisions. Our campaign used a mix of advertising and promotional events to spread brand awareness and recognitionw ith our target market and clients.

Getting Scientists into Schools

Problem:

Curiosity Labs by MilliporeSIgma provides free science labs for middle school science teachers with a mission of inspiring a future generation of scientists. Because the labs are free, teachers are eager to sign up for Curiosity Labs. The problem was that teachers had never heard of the program, and MilliporeSigma needed a communication strategy to get the word out. 

Resolution:

The team found an audience of teachers through extensive secondary and primary research, and they created a campaign that could reach them and resonate with them. The campaign gets the CUriosity Labs name in front of these teachers and keeps them engaged with the program throughout the school year. This was done through media tactics including email newsletters, giveaways, social media contests, web and print ad placements, a culminating event and more. By interacting with this audience on a daily basis, Curiosity Labs will get top-of-mind awareness in the teaching community.

Problem:

Rural Missouri was facing the problem of not being able to appeal to an audience younger than 50. They desperately wanted to appeal to a younger audience, specifically in the 25-34 age range.

Resolution:

To solve this issue, we’ve compiled a number of digital tactics that would make their publication appeal to a younger demographic. Our plans include digital advertising, strong social media presence, personal appearances as well as recommended website and magazine redesigns.

We created a name for the project: The Growing Market initiative. We utilized a naturalistic, community-focused approach through newsletters, social media, events and strategic tactics with the big idea: “Grow Together” to gain community support and awareness.

Attracting Columbia Newcomers

Problem:

Central Bank of Boone County asked AdZou to create a campaign for the purpose of increasing the amount of new checking accounts being opened. The target consumer around which the campaign would be centered was left up to our team.

Resolution:

We utilized research findings to zero in on 22-30 year olds recently settling into the Columbia area, a group we named “NewCOMOers.” We decided to focus on this niche group because they are more likely to need knowlegeable and approachable bankers to help them make high-involvement financial decisions and are more likely to stay with a bank in the long run.

Launching a Nationwide App

Problem:

Tags asked AdZou to aid in the national launch of their new interactive social and search app targeting the millennial population, specifically helping them gain awareness through trial download, repeat use and ultimately, loyal followers.

Resolution:

The campaign utilized three phases to communicate the big idea: the Get Found message. The campaign tactics easily transition between phases, engaging users in different ways to gain brand awareness, application download and sharing among friends and peers.

Some of the tactics used to achieve these phase goals were, owned media, guerilla advertising with stickers around the city and the use of social media influencers. We also included experiential pop-up shops, freelancer galleries, out-of-home travel kiosks, and a social media campaign.

A Novel Approach to Coffee & Lounge Retail

Problem:

Fresh Ideas, a local food service management company, charged AdZou with creating a strategic plan for developing a new retail concept. Their goal in partnering with AdZou is to expand their services on university and college campuses across the Midwest.

Resolution:

After conducting extensive research, the team honed in on the wants and needs of college students, identifying specific options they would like to see on their campuses. The team created a retail coffee concept, Brew Coffee & Lounge. This coffee shop will be easy for Fresh Ideas to reinvent on different campuses. They have created a comprehensive plan that includes the coffee shop’s atmosphere and menu offerings. By creating an integrated marketing plan using public relations, social media, and promotional tactics, Brew will be able to achieve top-of-mind awareness.
